I have lived here in beautiful Telluride for over a decade, and can't imagine living anywhere else. I am an avid skier, but when spring rolls around my passion is Rock Climbing and Canyoneering. Every chance I get, I am headed to the desert (only 2 hours from Telluride) to play and climb.

I first fell in love with Real Estate in 1992 when my father became a developer back in Jacksonville, Florida. I received my B.A. in Business at Georgia Southern University, (just north of Savannah) and headed out to Telluride for an internship… I never looked back.

 

Ben Jackson - Broker, Owner (Telluride Realty)

Ben Jackson originally hails from Montgomery, Alabama. He moved to Telluride from Aspen in 1990. That spring he opened a retail operation here that brought the sport of snowboarding to the Telluride region. He began to invest in Telluride real estate in 1992, following the advice of a long-time local: “buy what you can afford NOW, and hang on to it!”

In 1996 Ben helped found San Juan Properties, and is a principle in several large development projects in the region. He takes great pride in working closely with each client to establish a lasting relationship that provides for a successful future.
